Enzo Sellitti vs Remo Ascierto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Lazio promoted show at Rome Alatri, Rome,  taking place on 21/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Lazio Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Enzo Sellitti (9 - 10 - 4) who hails from Rome, Italy and Remo Ascierto(10 - 0) from Rome, Italy.  Both Sellitti and Ascierto weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Remo Bordiga, and the three ringside judges are Silvano Viani, Remo Lamia and Vicenzo Alemanno.  

Round 1: 

Ascierto is looking to close the distance.  Ascierto pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sellitti tries to land a right hook, but Ascierto sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
