Hikaru Matsui vs Taro Seki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 24/07/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Aichi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hikaru Matsui (8 - 7) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Taro Seki(8 - 6 - 1) from Okazaki, Japan.  Matsui weighed in at 200 pounds, while Seki weighed in at 199 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Murakami, and the three ringside judges are Kazuki Yamamoto, Aoi Imada and Raiden Matsui.  

Round 1: 

Seki switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Matsui lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
