Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Floyd Little Athletic Center, New Haven,  taking place on 27/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Matteson (9 - 0) who hails from Wichita, USA and Mark Skirvin(8 - 6 - 4) from Vancouver, Canada.  Both Matteson and Skirvin weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Inigo Kelton, and the three ringside judges are Dave Rennick, Paul Muncie and Paul Muncie.  

Round 1: 

Matteson lands a left hook.
