Alejandro Almeda vs Xavier Sanchez

Boxing Daily Report from the Cestrian promotions promoted show at Pavelló Girona-Fontajau, Barcelona,  taking place on 28/09/2026:

Clearly Cestrian promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Almeda (13(3) - 0) who hails from Seville, Spain and Xavier Sanchez(5 - 3 - 2) from Madrid, Spain.  Both Almeda and Sanchez weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Seferino Cosme, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Oseguera, Leonel Nicodemus and Elias Moreton.
