Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Gimnasio Las Palma, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 05/09/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Honduras-Francisco Morazan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pancho Aguilera (5 - 11 - 2) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Desiderio Rubi(6 - 5 - 2) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Both Aguilera and Rubi weighed in at 135 pounds.
