Gordon Whitfield vs Isaac Wright

Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Southampton Guildhall, Southampton,  taking place on 28/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gordon Whitfield (9(1) - 0) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Isaac Wright(4 - 1 - 1) from Northampton, UK.  Whitfield weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces, while Wright weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Davie Adduce, and the three ringside judges are Brett Henrie, Fraser Carroll and Darryl Byrne.
