Atif Saad vs Zafa Bashara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Mumbai Mathen, Mumbai,  taking place on 23/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Atif Saad (10 - 1) who hails from Mumbai, India and Zafa Bashara(8 - 11 - 2) from Jaipur, India.  Both Saad and Bashara weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasvinder Kapoor, and the three ringside judges are Kishore Dadwal, Ashoka Pathak and Haaris Kassar.
