Tariq Mohammed vs Ganesh Halder

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Rohit Havanur Gym, Chennai,  taking place on 23/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tariq Mohammed (11 - 4 - 1) who hails from Chennai, India and Ganesh Halder(9 - 12 - 1) from Surat, India.  Mohammed weighed in at 235 pounds and 13 ounces, while Halder weighed in at 230 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Madhav Kamdar, and the three ringside judges are Girish Mehra, Ananth Takshak and Chiranjeevi Gulati.
