Mikio Anzai vs Hisao Takei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at ACROS Arena Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 23/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Anzai (10 - 6) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Hisao Takei(7 - 9(1) - 4) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Anzai and Takei weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daichi Sada, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Iwasaki, Yuji Sakai and Kaede Kuba.
