Vashon Makacha vs Amon Kiongo

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at World Hope Stadium, Nairobi,  taking place on 26/08/2026:

Clearly African Fusion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vashon Makacha (11(1) - 6) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Amon Kiongo(14 - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Makacha and Kiongo weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Rebelo, and the three ringside judges are Duncan Wakihuri, Elliot Lumumba and Lisimba Kimeli.
