Matt Preddy vs Peter Dewey

Boxing Daily Report from the boxeraifan promoted show at Seth Craig Gym, Fort Collins,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

Clearly boxeraifan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Preddy (13 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Denver, USA and Peter Dewey(8 - 5 - 1) from Pueblo, USA.  Preddy weighed in at 154 pounds, while Dewey weighed in at 153 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dominic Kennon, and the three ringside judges are Spencer Binnie, Joshua Davie and Corey Satter.  

Round 1: 

Dewey is on target with a jab.
