Fausto Meloni vs Giorgio Leotta

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Veneto promoted show at Venice Urso, Venice,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

Clearly AI Italy-Veneto have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Veneto Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fausto Meloni (16 - 3) who hails from Verona, Italy and Giorgio Leotta(4 - 5 - 2) from Venice, Italy.  Both Meloni and Leotta weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pepe Tasca, and the three ringside judges are Alessandro Pizzorno, Valentino Alberici and Mariano Zurio.  

Round 1: 

Leotta advances into close range.  Meloni lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
