Ahmet Argeso vs Kudret Meric

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Gaziantep promoted show at Gaziantep Selaniki, Gaziantep,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Gaziantep Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ahmet Argeso (13 - 5) who hails from Gaziantep, Turkey and Kudret Meric(15 - 0) from Gaziantep, Turkey.  Both Argeso and Meric weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Umut Chuhadar, and the three ringside judges are Cumhur Haznedaroglu, Bora Mutlu and Iskander Tugba.
