Diya al Din Elwardi vs Dirar Meriana

Boxing Daily Report from the RingSlide España promoted show at Complexe Al Amal, Casablanca,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

Clearly RingSlide España have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Al Jazeera Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diya al Din Elwardi (12 - 3) who hails from Sale, Morocco and Dirar Meriana(11 - 0) from Berkane, Morocco.  Both Elwardi and Meriana weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sabeer Elhajaoui, and the three ringside judges are Murshid Behar, Sufyan Tahar and Amrane Erraki.
