Guido Lara vs Rodrigo Sotomayor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Laguna promoted show at San Pedro Pagampao, San Pedro,  taking place on 29/07/2026:

Clearly AI Philippines-Laguna have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Guido Lara (13 - 2 - 3) who hails from Calamba, Philippines and Rodrigo Sotomayor(11 - 2) from Cabuyao, Philippines.  Both Lara and Sotomayor weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Puruganan, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Silago, Miguel Nieto and Olindo Isip.
