Desiderio Mieras vs Angel Laris

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Madero, Quito,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Pichincha have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Desiderio Mieras (5 - 6 - 4) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Angel Laris(6 - 5(1) - 2) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Mieras and Laris weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neper Cifuentes, and the three ringside judges are Enzo Roque, Luis Mazariegos and Paco Florez.
