Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Kareko, Christchurch,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paau Mahia (13 - 9 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Arthur Paki(7 - 2 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Mahia weighed in at 122 pounds, while Paki weighed in at 121 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noel Haxton, and the three ringside judges are Ian Dixon, Ruki Kohu and Mark Atchison.
