Hope Onazi vs Chris Elue

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Abia State promoted show at Theophilus Tochukwu Gym, Aba,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Abia State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hope Onazi (13 - 1 - 1) who hails from Aba, Nigeria and Chris Elue(7 - 0) from Aba, Nigeria.  Both Onazi and Elue weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yakubu Egbedi, and the three ringside judges are Nwankwo Nwoke, Lukman Shuaib and Jay-Jay Obano.
