Godfrey Oletu vs Orji Odiah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Majid Saah Gym, Bama,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Borno State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Godfrey Oletu (13 - 2) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Orji Odiah(9 - 3) from Bama, Nigeria.  Both Oletu and Odiah weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Irfan Rahaim, and the three ringside judges are Syed Hariri, Irfan Rahaim and Syed Hariri.
