Mark Higgins vs Fausto Romero

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 08/09/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Higgins (16(5) - 0 - 2) who hails from Syracuse, USA and Fausto Romero(15 - 4(1) - 1) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Both Higgins and Romero weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Brice, and the three ringside judges are Dale Slaight, Clinton Proffitt and Mark Gardon.
