Sam Milliner vs Duncan Brodie

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shreyas Gym, Boston,  taking place on 20/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sam Milliner (3 - 0) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Duncan Brodie(1 - 1 - 2) from Houston, USA.  Both Milliner and Brodie weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Dave Greenan, Ian Noble and Nathan Burt.  

Round 1: 

Milliner pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Milliner is on target with a left hook.  
Milliner forces Brodie to retreat onto the ropes.  Milliner is on target with a right hook.

Milliner lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Milliner attempts to land a right hook, but Brodie parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Milliner walks Brodie down, trapping him in a corner.  Milliner lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brodie tries to land a right hook, but Milliner blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Brodie throws a left hook, but Milliner ties up his opponent.  Brodie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Brodie is looking to close the distance.  Milliner connects with a left uppercut.  
Milliner gets on the inside.  Brodie throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Milliner's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
