Vicente Brazil vs Santiago Apollo

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Gran Teatro de La Habana, Havana,  taking place on 05/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Cuba-Havana Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vicente Brazil (18(8) - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Santiago Apollo(8 - 7(1) - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Brazil weighed in at 231 pounds And 7 ounces, while Apollo weighed in at 237 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alfonso Fiel, and the three ringside judges are Reyes Amaro, Santiago Villano and Desiderio Estacio.  

Round 1:
