Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Cairo Tawfik, Cairo,  taking place on 28/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Egypt-Cairo Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqar Sadat (8 - 6 - 1) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Amer Alfanagry(7 - 8 - 5) from Cairo, Egypt.  Sadat weighed in at 114 pounds and 7 ounces, while Alfanagry weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Emam, and the three ringside judges are Mohsin Sadek, Atif Adel and Sajid Hammad.
