Luvolwethu Sangweni vs Charlie Goosen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Eastern Cape promoted show at Port Elizabeth Mapisa, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 31/07/2026:

Clearly AI South Africa-Eastern Cape have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Eastern Cape Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luvolwethu Sangweni (9 - 1) who hails from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Charlie Goosen(8(1) - 1 - 1) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Both Sangweni and Goosen weighed in at 135 pounds.
