Kanja Sankar vs Umair Moussa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Telangana promoted show at Hyderabad Nallakannu, Hyderabad,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

Clearly AI India-Telangana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Telangana Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kanja Sankar (5 - 9 - 3) who hails from Hyderabad, India and Umair Moussa(8 - 2 - 3) from Hyderabad, India.  Sankar weighed in at 231 pounds And 13 ounces, while Moussa weighed in at 250 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chandrasekar Kalla, and the three ringside judges are Akil Yohannan, Waqar Faraj and Ganesa Morar.
