Arslan Chelebi vs Ilker Akar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Bursa promoted show at Cumhur Erden Gym, Bursa,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

Clearly AI Turkey-Bursa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Bursa Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arslan Chelebi (7 - 4) who hails from Bursa, Turkey and Ilker Akar(3 - 13 - 5) from Bursa, Turkey.  Chelebi weighed in at 214 pounds and 12 ounces, while Akar weighed in at 237 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bayram Evgar, and the three ringside judges are Ahmet Sandalli, Ata Atalar and Turgay Unal.
