Gareth Ellestad vs Leif Opdahl

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Norway-Oslo promoted show at Oslo Almen, Oslo,  taking place on 28/08/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Norway Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gareth Ellestad (8 - 7 - 1) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Leif Opdahl(6 - 1(1)) from Oslo, Norway.  Ellestad weighed in at 118 pounds, while Opdahl weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sigurd Kolstad, and the three ringside judges are Thor Moen, Hsin Hetland and Oliver Finstad.
