Desiderio Monforte vs Enzo Tanghal

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Bulacan promoted show at Santa Maria Mate, Santa Maria,  taking place on 31/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Bulacan Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Desiderio Monforte (17 - 1(1)) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Enzo Tanghal(15 - 4 - 1) from Malolos, Philippines.  Both Monforte and Tanghal weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emilio Macalintal, and the three ringside judges are Tajo Pozos, Jack Casumbal and Emilio Macalintal.
