Dong-jun Shim vs Tae-hee Kook

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-Daegu promoted show at Keun-ho Shon Gym, Daegu,  taking place on 31/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Daegu Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dong-jun Shim (11 - 7 - 2) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Tae-hee Kook(11 - 6 - 1) from Daegu, South Korea.  Both Shim and Kook weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jin-su Nahm, and the three ringside judges are Tae-hwi Kwok, Seung-gyu Um and Tae-hwi Kwok.  

Round 1: 

Shim steps inside.  Shim sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kook throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.
