Yong-jae Chay vs Ju-young Im

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndumba Promotions promoted show at Changwon Ju, Changwon,  taking place on 31/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Korea-South Gyeongsang Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yong-jae Chay (15 - 2) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Ju-young Im(7 - 4 - 2) from Changwon, South Korea.  Both Chay and Im weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yong-jae Ham, and the three ringside judges are Chang-soo Kwon, Myung-joo Paik and Se-jong Kang.
