Shamus Kelly vs Aaron Burns

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at Dublin Leishman, Dublin,  taking place on 01/09/2026:

Clearly AI Ireland-Leinster have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shamus Kelly (9 - 8 - 2) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Aaron Burns(9 - 7 - 5) from Dublin, Ireland.  Kelly weighed in at 140 pounds, while Burns weighed in at 139 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dan McCorquodale, and the three ringside judges are Dean Napier, Lewis Carroll and Brett Rabbitt.
