Ui-jo Choung vs Jong-ho Kang

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-South Gyeongsang promoted show at Keun-ho Wang Gym, Changwon,  taking place on 30/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Korea-South Gyeongsang Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ui-jo Choung (12 - 0) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Jong-ho Kang(7 - 8 - 1) from Changwon, South Korea.  Both Choung and Kang weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Min-woo Kang, and the three ringside judges are Chang-soo Kwon, Myung-joo Paik and Yong-jae Ham.
