Umair Heillway vs Obaid Abotomey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Abu Dhabi promoted show at Abu Dhabi Bashar, Abu Dhabi,  taking place on 01/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the UAE-Abu Dhabi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Abu Dhabi Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Umair Heillway (15 - 0) who hails from Al Ain, UAE and Obaid Abotomey(11 - 11 - 1) from Al Ain, UAE.  Both Heillway and Abotomey weighed in at 140 pounds.
