Mark Dunkin vs Billy Thornton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at USA-Oregon Gym, Portland,  taking place on 02/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Dunkin (7 - 2(1)) who hails from Portland, USA and Billy Thornton(8 - 3 - 2) from Eugene, USA.  Both Dunkin and Thornton weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Mijares, and the three ringside judges are Brett Edmison, Ethan Mingus and Alec Romo.
