Ross McNeil vs Ross McGuinness

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Munster promoted show at Cork McChesney, Cork,  taking place on 01/09/2026:

Clearly AI Ireland-Munster have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish-Munster Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ross McNeil (11(1) - 5 - 2) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Ross McGuinness(7 - 9 - 3) from Cork, Ireland.  Both McNeil and McGuinness weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Mulloy, and the three ringside judges are Kieran Mulloy, Killian Corcoran and Shamus Brogan.

McNeil lands a straight 1 - 2.
