Abdul Brown vs Bilal Tabatabai

Boxing Daily Report from the Sembene Promotions promoted show at Gazi Wahed Gym, Sana'a,  taking place on 03/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Sana'a Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Abdul Brown (11 - 4(1) - 5) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Bilal Tabatabai(3 - 1 - 3) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Brown weighed in at 154 pounds, while Tabatabai weighed in at 153 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Gilles, and the three ringside judges are Saad Khan, Gazi Azzi and Rehan Akel.
