Callum Van Niekerk vs Bryan Midzi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Harare Chakabva, Harare,  taking place on 04/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Callum Van Niekerk (10 - 6 - 4) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Bryan Midzi(13 - 5 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Van Niekerk weighed in at 126 pounds, while Midzi weighed in at 125 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Mupariwa, and the three ringside judges are Adam Samkange, Paul Moyo and Lado Nkala.
