David Zaza vs Mark Zheng

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Melbourne Watkins, Melbourne,  taking place on 04/09/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Zaza (11(2) - 5(2) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Mark Zheng(16(2) - 6(6) - 3) from Shah Alam, Malaysia.  Both Zaza and Zheng weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Barfoot, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Kamali, Mark Givan and Alastair MacIntyre.  

Round 1: 

Zheng feints a right hook, and then hits home with a cross.
