Richard Wadle vs Ben Gemmell

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Queensland promoted show at Cairns Storer, Cairns,  taking place on 05/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richard Wadle (7 - 8 - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Ben Gemmell(6 - 4 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Wadle weighed in at 159 pounds and 9 ounces, while Gemmell weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Inigo Craigen, and the three ringside judges are Seth Urbano, Fraser McNabb and Scott Martin.
