Eric Lowe vs Ed McBurney

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Veterans Memorial Stadium, Cedar Rapids,  taking place on 06/09/2026:

Clearly AI USA-Iowa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a tournament fight from USA-Iowa Middleweigh.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Eric Lowe (4 - 2 - 2) who hails from Madison, USA and Ed McBurney(5 - 3) from Madison, USA.  Both Lowe and McBurney weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Apostol, and the three ringside judges are Mark Nedley, Mark Flockhart and Geoff Fergus.
