Gan Pan vs Pasi Pesola

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 28/08/2026:

Clearly Mr. Vicious have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Gan Pan (18(2) - 0) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Pasi Pesola(12 - 11(7) - 3) from Helsinki, Finland.  Both Pan and Pesola weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Taggart, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Hearn, Lorcan Coleman and Dan McCorquodale.  

Round 1: 

Pan steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Pesola sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pan connects with a stinging cross.

Pan voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Pesola attempts to land a cross, but Pan parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pesola steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Pan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Pesola pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pan is on target with a solid right hook.

Pesola stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Pan is on target with a cross.  
Pan advances into close range.  Pesola sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pan lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Pan lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Pan gets on the inside and whips in a big left hook to Pesola's body.  PESOLA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Pesola steps to the outside.  Pan is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Pan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND PESOLA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Pesola has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Pesola is on target with a left hook.  Pesola throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.

Pesola steps to the outside and is on target with a cross to his opponents body.

Pan steps inside and crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PESOLA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Pan stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Pan lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES PESOLA!  He manages to get up at 6.  Pesola now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
