Eiji Uyemura vs Hikaru Hiraoka

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 12/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eiji Uyemura (5 - 14 - 4) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Hikaru Hiraoka(4 - 4 - 3) from Machida, Japan.  Both Uyemura and Hiraoka weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ryo Shiroma, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Fuse, Hikaru Onaga and Kyo Tsutsumi.  

Round 1: 

Uyemura is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a cross, but Hiraoka sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
