Yakubu Amalaha vs Julien Mendy

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Yokohama Arena, Yokohama,  taking place on 10/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBA Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yakubu Amalaha (30(14) - 1) who hails from Ibadan, Nigeria and Julien Mendy(20(3) - 4 - 2) from Touba, Senegal.  Both Amalaha and Mendy weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Hatanaka, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Okuda, Hajime Morita and Ryo Hagiwara.
