Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Gran Teatro de La Habana, Havana,  taking place on 05/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Neron Villela (8 - 0) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Jose Monte(1 - 2 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Villela weighed in at 121 pounds And 4 ounces, while Monte weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reyes Amaro, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Fiel, Santiago Villano and Desiderio Estacio.
