Boxing Daily Report from the Goofy promoted show at Wakefield McZeal, Wakefield,  taking place on 06/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Russell Russley Russell (12(2) - 0 - 1) who hails from Newcastle, UK and John Bellis(12 - 4(2)) from Bradford, UK.  Russell weighed in at 166 pounds and 14 ounces, while Bellis weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Kilduff, and the three ringside judges are Fred Ruddock, Chris Murphy and Jonathan Duane.
