Alejandro Mangubat vs Bronco Abat

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-NCR promoted show at Manila Farias, Manila,  taking place on 09/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-NCR Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Mangubat (5 - 11(3) - 2) who hails from Manila, Philippines and Bronco Abat(12 - 2(1) - 5) from Quezon City, Philippines.  Mangubat weighed in at 104 pounds and 15 ounces, while Abat weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gervasio Bague, and the three ringside judges are Leonardo Callangan, Larenzo Agonoy and Vicente Macasieb.
