Aaron Sterling vs John Jernigan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Nevada promoted show at Reno Cadigan, Reno,  taking place on 09/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Nevada Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron Sterling (13(1) - 2(1)) who hails from Henderson, USA and John Jernigan(15(1) - 2 - 1) from Las Vegas, USA.  Sterling weighed in at 200 pounds, while Jernigan weighed in at 199 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mike Faulkner, and the three ringside judges are Ian Levingston, Dave Farquharson and Chris Cadwallader.
