Rodrigo Avitia vs Berto Alcantara

Boxing Daily Report from the Akamenya Promotions promoted show at San Miguel de Tucuma Gaytan, San Miguel de Tucuman,  taking place on 14/08/2026:

Clearly Akamenya Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Tucaman Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Avitia (14 - 5) who hails from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina and Berto Alcantara(6 - 1 - 1) from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina.  Avitia weighed in at 147 pounds, while Alcantara weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Galea, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Cardiel, Neron Palos and Salvador Mateo.
