Nicandro Montealegre vs Carlos Monterroso

Boxing Daily Report from the Nunoo Promotions promoted show at Santa Cruz de la Sie Maddry, Santa Cruz de la Sierra,  taking place on 15/08/2026:

Clearly Nunoo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-Santa Cruz Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Montealegre (7 - 7) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Carlos Monterroso(12 - 5 - 2) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Both Montealegre and Monterroso weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jaguar Agustin, and the three ringside judges are Angel Giron, Juan Barriga and Juan Rosero.

Montealegre tries to land a cross, but Monterroso blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
