Mark McCammack vs Sam Watson

Boxing Daily Report from the Andy Graham promoted show at Spencer McElligott Gym, Brighton and Hove,  taking place on 15/08/2026:

Clearly Andy Graham have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Southern England Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark McCammack (6 - 2 - 4) who hails from Bournemouth, UK and Sam Watson(8 - 9 - 1) from London, UK.  McCammack weighed in at 135 pounds, while Watson weighed in at 134 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lucas Ervine, and the three ringside judges are Colin Kendrick, Vincent Floyd and Gavin McAffee.  

Round 1: 

McCammack steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Watson tries to keep the action at long range.  Watson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McCammack hits home with an overhand right.  
Watson feints a right hook, but McCammack is not fooled and lands with a left hook.
